I did not lose anything the first week, and was a little frustrated. I didn't have too too much to lose (15 pounds), and I don't have much time to exercise, so after reading through the forums quite a bit, I came to the conclusion that my calories were a bit too high for my size and activity level. I was tracking on www.fitday.com (do you have an account yet? It's extremely helpful) and saw that I was eating between 1800 and 2200 calories per day. I cut back to 1300-1500 and finally my weight has started moving, though slowly. On induction, I keep my carbs below 20 and drink as much water as I can stand. See if these things help. Watch your calories (roughly 12 per pound of bodyweight is a good general rule), watch your carbs, drink lots and lots of water, and exercise. And sometimes it just takes some time to get started, so don't lose hope. Good luck!

Perhaps you should post some of your daily menus. We would gladly give you feedback on them.

Wow- your carb counts sound very low. I would increase them to 20. And what are mustards neck bones?

What the heck is "2 suag.patt"? Sausage?

If this is your menu, which doesn't really sound like Low Carb, you need to start with Induction for 2 weeks clean with no cheating, then move onto Ongoing Weight Loss, I think if you tracked your food choices on www.fitday.com, you would find you're not getting enough calories, nutrients or vegetables.

If you did induction, what was your weightloss? It sounds like you just are putting low-carb products together, but Atkins is a specific plan that needs to be followed to work. It may be that what you're eating would help you maintain once you are at goal, but to lose you need to follow the plan.

Good luck

LL

Well your carbs are low enought to have to be in ketosis. You don't mention it this is your first 7th day low carbing, or if you have well passed you induction period. This make a big difference in the answers you will get. BUT I would tell you, if you scale is not moving, the inches may still be. They do not always move together. Also around the third week most people stall out on the scale for a couple of week. That would be very normal. Take a measuring tape and start keeping track. This is a better indicator of what is going on.

Are these food not on the acceptable list and cheating can you tell me what did I ate that would be called cheating because I didn't think that I was? Yes I'am in ketosis
This is my 1st time doing any low crab diet and I am in the inducation stage.

Don't worry, what you're eating is just fine. You can eat more of the allowed vegetables if you want.

Start a journal. We can help you if you let us. How many calories are you getting daily and are you eating snacks?
