How about small peppers stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped with bacon, bake in oven?

I found for me it's about 16,000 calories. More than that I gain no matter how keto I am.

I suppose the number is different for different folks, but experimentation can find yours.

I cut way back and added more until I settled.

I make sure that most of the calories are nutritious, and none are detrimental.

Without heath you have nothing.

Hi Bob,

I try to keep it 1500 per day but I always end up with more.. Right now I think its pandemic related. I can't be as active being stuck home. I work out with dvd's but I was able to get in a lot of steps when I worked full time.

Fortunately I live on a dead-end street so I can walk up and down and up and down and up and down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... ... ...

15 complete up and downs makes 3 miles, 20 makes 4 miles.

It's a bit hot to do that now, but I do it anyway.

Do your walking at night when it gets this hot.
I do all of my gardening at night too!

Its coolest at dawn..... but I too garden after 6pn usually.

Bob have you considered HIITS ? Short time, aximum effort. Apparently good for body as it mobilizes the NO from artery walls.

I've gotten my neighbor hooked on night time watering. With the summer heat we have, it keeps everything from evaporating in the hot sun. It's the only way I can keep my tropicals alive and blooming instead of frying.

I did deep root watering last night with a rod that sends it down deep to the roots instead of ponding on the surface and never penetrating. Even though I have mulch on all of my beds, it still pays to keep every drop. Even then when it's 8-10pm I am still soaked from head to toe because of all of the humidity we have here, but at least I'm not dropping from a heat stroke!

It's also really good exercise with all of the bending, weed pulling, trimming and filling cans. It gets my heart rate up because it nonstop for a couple of hours.

I walk in the late afternoon. Sure it's cooler in the morning but living by the ocean, the wind is west or completely still. By late afternoon there is a good sea breeze blowing. That helps a lot.

I live about 200 feet from the Atlantic coast of Florida, to the east is a 2 mile wide lagoon, a 1/4 mile wide barrier island and then the ocean.

When I was a child, if the temperature was over 85 it made headline news in the local paper IT'S 86 - A REAL SCORCHER.

Now low to mid 90s are not uncommon. Global warming is definitely real around here.

But after my walk, a nice shower is waiting for me and that makes it all better.

Plus since to the west of me is also a protected wetlands, I've seen hawks, ospreys, pelicans, dolphins, snakes, cranes, neighbors and other wildlife.

I'm lucky to live where I do.

HIITS isn't for me. I'd take the S from the back and put it in the front of that initialism to make it an acronym. (Sorry, I couldn't resist).

A nice brisk walk is like meditation for me.

Bob

Ahh, nothing like a sea breeze. Sea shore was my go to after school back as a kid.

As for gardening, its regarded as THE best exercise.

Been too hot here, to make bacon, or turn on oven.
