I'm now varying between the normal ones (on your elbows) and the extended one (like a pushup). I do better with the extended ones. I shake a lot more with the normal ones and can't go as far. I do find they work different muscles so am trying to use that to help mitigate the soreness.
That said, I want to keep this up to see how far I can go. So glad that you and Nichole talked about this and you put the challenge together. Hang in there and keep working!

I think you may be right about a complete newbie going from 20 seconds to 2 minutes in 30 days Jeff. I just googled plank challenges and thought I'd picked an easy one. Obviously not
However, like you, I want to see how far I can go. I do want to try to do a plank a day going forward even if it's not at the same pace of the schedule I posted at the beginning. After all, I did state " sign up to do a plank every day for the next 30 days (and beyond!) and post your daily times here" and the schedule was only a guide, so as long as we're planking, we're winning!

If it works for you, then go for it Jeff. Perhaps throw a rest day in now and again too.
