Talking Low Carb Centre!

These stores are carrying an AWESOME array of low carb foods and the prices are competitive...they want to beat out all other low carb sellers in price! The website is www.lowcarbcentre.com

Locations are listed on the site from Vancouver to Toronto!

Awesome part...the one on Davie street has a lady working there that has dropped over 100 pounds on the Atkins!!!! I love a store where the people actually believe in what they are selling not just doign it for $...she has before and after pics...and it was very motivating talking to her!

LOW CARB FOR LIFE!

I don't know if there other locations are cheaper then their North Van store, but I find them a lot more expensive then Low Carb Solutions is Delta. I had not been to the LC Centre for a long time, as I was using LC Solutions. About two weeks ago I was in North Van, so thought I would stop by. I was amazed at how expensive they are compared to LC Solutions.

Just a few examples

Toritlla Shells LC solutions $5.50 for 10 LC Centre $6.99
Steels Sauces - Prices differ but LC centre on average $1-$3 more per bottle.

They each have about the same selection, but I live in New West, and both stores are about equal distance, and I would never go back to LC Centre again.

blueowl....is the LC Solutions Delta store the only one in the lower mainland? Do you know if they have a web page? There is a new LC store opening in S. Surrey.....I believe though that it is the LC Centre. For me having never shopped in a specialty LC store....I'd have nothing to compare the prices too....but if it's a fairly large amount, it might be worth the drive to the Delta store.

We're hooked on wraps from the Low Carb Centre, and the drive to Davie really beats trying to get to either Surrey or North Van.
Thanks for the heads up on the web site.

Low Carb Solutions does have a website http://www.lowcarbsolutions.ca/

I think you are correct on the South Surry being Low Carb Centre, and I believe Low Carb Solutions only has the delta store.

In the end you have to decide if the distance is worth it. For me I live equally between the two stores. But if it's going to cost you $10 in gas, then you would have to decide if it is really worth the drive. If you are doing a big shop, it might be.

Have any of you guys checked out the Perfect Health store in Richmond? It's on Westminster Highway and Minoru Boulevard and that's where I do the majority of my low-carb shopping.

The owner gives excellent advice when it comes to living low-carb and they're the friendliest people ever. (No, I don't work there or own stock in the company )

The Low Carb Centre in South Surrey opens Saturday April 3 - the ad in the paper lists their hours Mon-Fri 7am to 9pm and on the weekends I think opening was a little later than that. Anyhooo....it says they have "stay in" and "take out" meals as well as their groceries. I'm a little leary as I don't want to get hooked on the "frankenfood" type items.....but I am sure going to check it out to see what things they have that I could use during a moment of need!

Hi, I live in Port Moody and don't drive so are there any low-carb stores either nearby or near the skytrain maybe? All I've been able to find are a few Atkins products but what I'm looking for are things like the lc tortillas and other 'real' food products. Thanks.

Cat

Oh yes, almost forgot, anyone know where to buy the Atkins supplements - I've been using the GNC brand but I know the Atkins formula is slightly different.
