Default B complex and magnesium: Fibro and others!

I did some research on fibromyalgia after being diagnosed to figure out what would make me feel better. I came across a website (dont remember the link, sorry) that said part of the exhaustion that comes from having fibro is linked to a lot of vitamin deficiencies in the body. it went on to list a bunch of supplements people should take to help with it.

the next time i was at the grocery store, i picked up two of the ones that i could remember: a B complex and Magnesium.

ITS LIKE GOLD!

I started taking it on monday of this week (on top of my generic centrum type vitamin that already has some of the b complex and magnesium) and i have energy i didnt know that i had! I still have some back pain and i still take my muscle relaxant to fall asleep at night, but my MENTAL energy throughout the day is HUGE!!! I also have more physical energy, but i feel sharper, clearer and less like all i want to do is lay around!

i dont know if its the b complex and the magnesium or a combination of that and the fact that i went off my birth control to see if that would help me lose some weight, but i would recommend it to anyone to see if it helps them at all.

let me know if you have had success with it!

(just a warning, if you start taking a b complex vitamin, your pee will turn fluorescent yellow... its completely normal, just really freaky the first time you see it!)

Add some vitamin D and calcium to that and you'll feel even better.

D and magnesium are great for fibro and after a while D might make that back pain.

JMO, I think that most illnesses, especially chronic ones, can be traced to vitamin deficiencies.

Yea, I'm already taking vitamin D and calcium as well as going tanning periodically.

I completely agree with you also, I think americans are completely vitamin deficient, and even if the diet is correct, a lot still just aren't nourished properly. i used to believe in getting vitamins from food sources, but now im a believer is supplements. i wish doctors would jump on the bandwagon and advise more in the vitamin department so we're sure to be getting the right combinations.

It seems to me that most doctors are totally biased against any natural therapy, and want to mask symptoms with expensive drugs rather than heal you. Our family doctor is an exception

Aeth, just want to remind you to check your vitamin supplements for gluten too. I had some that had gluten in them. A generic centrum type of forumla, from Walmart I think.
