Default Starting Phase 2 today

I just finished 2 weeks on phase 1 and lost 5.8 pounds (15% of my goal). I was hoping to lose a little bit more, but I am pretty happy anyway. I just finished a granny smith apple with a tbsp of peanut in each half as part of my lunch. I think I am going to really enjoy phase 2! So far eating according to the south beach plan, I have been very satisfied and haven't had many cravings at all. I hope it stays this easy to stick to!

FYI- it is expected to lose 10% of your total loss in the first 2 weeks...so 15% is awesome!!

I wish you luck. Phase 2 for me is right arond the corner...Phase 1 has been realatively easy and I am nervous to take the next step...keep me posted on your progress as you add in good, healthy carbs. I am intersted to see how it goes for you!

I just finished the first week of phase 2 and I lost 2 more pounds even with adding in some fruit every day! It tasted so good. I am trying to add things slowly, so most days I only had 1/2 of a fruit, this week I am adding in starchy vegetables on a few days and we will see how that goes. So far, I am amazed that I am usually satisfied with the allowed foods and am not tempted to cheat very often. I wish you lots of luck when you start phase 2. I am sure you will enjoy it!
