Question Ketosis and aroma?

Is there a smell that your urine and breath takes when in a ketosis state or am I just tripping?

Nope you are right. Some people notice a sweetish breath or even a metallic taste. Urine is a bit "nutty".

So now you don't even need the Ketostix.

And the best way to keep your breath from being too nasty is to drink lots and lots of water.

Thumbs up

Well all right! That sounds like good news to me. First off that I'm not tripping and that of course I'm in ketosis. I've been extremely thirsty and have been taken in lots of water. Almost feel like I could be on the verge of water toxication I'm drinking so much. I was also very into the whole diet soda scene and have lost my desire to even sip it. I tried taking in a sip of diet Dr. Pepper today and it tasted way to sweet so I had to dump it. I'm working on converting the people I see on the daily in my life. Not for nothing, but because I'm in good shape, people often ask me for secrets. My answer for diet was high protien and good fiber, but LCing, I believe now is more effective. Xenedrine was another recomendation I would often give out to people trying to lose weight or burn fat, but even LCing takes priority in importance. I feel like that guy in that one car commercial who goes around telling people about the deal he got on his car and then the lady at the bank "so, whats the problem why are you telling me" "oh, I'm telling everyone"...or something like that...if you seen the commercial you know what I'm talking about. And now that I've gone on, let me put this to an end. Thanks for the responses and the reassurance.

My darling husband tells me that ever since I started this woe, that my breath has a funky smell....so I went and bought some Advance Breath Care Mints by Arm & Hammer. They have <1 grm of carbs and <1grm of sugar alcohol....and most importantly, they have NO Aspartame, unlike the listerine breath strips. The mints seem to be working just fine. Just remember to keep drinking water, water, water.
