Only down .2 lbs today, but that is acceptable.

Today's planned foods include a spinach salad for lunch with either tuna or chicken breast, and a chicken leg quarter for dinner. A new batch of yogurt is ready and waiting for testing, too.

I did not get my protein powder yesterday, so perhaps tomorrow it will arrive. I DID get my fish oil caps, though, so I will have all the suggested supplements I need now.

Day 1......2/19/16: 165.6
Day 2......2/20/16: 165.2
DAY 3.....2/21/16: 164.4

OK.. small steps back to start weight as per expectations. I was 164.0 on day wt CN #1 so I lost 1.2 of the 1.6 I had of flux. and this day #3 has me back into ketosis all on schedule. I will expect to have either a NSV or SV by ,y Cn.THat unfortunately will not be until MAYBE Saturday or more likely SUNDAY .THis is not good but cannot help it. WHAT I hope to see is a loss of size and some weight notices as well. IF that happens. no matter what the weight loss, I am happy. Just to think that I can have a carb nite and eat what Carl will have and go out to the Chinese Buffet and eat RICE! and my missed sushi etc... wow...We cannot eat our often at all but the once a month-2 months will be guilt free TO be in control for 6 days is easy as it gets. I will give this a lot of time. I have a postive feeling about this. Normally I would be on a major upswing.. and huge losses... so if the huge scale losses are not there , then that is normal here too.

FISH OIL...UGH... I have half a bottle or more un used. Too large. OMEGA 3 is in flax and a lot of good stuff that I HOPE I get enough of!
SOrry about the Protein not getting there yet. Jodi tried a serving of mine and said it is ok. She will get some I hope but she would rather ( do not blame her) have the Atkins shakes. ALL good ingredients there. Her BIG problem is that on work nights, her foods MUST be in either sealed original containers for inspection or in CLEAR plastic containers or baggies. That makes it impossible to do the powder shakes.

I hurt my back a few days ago and not sure how. One spot that is all nerve radiates down both sides of my lower back like a huge rubber band is attached to my heals and pulls with every step.Sitting is the most painful with my weight on the lower discs.
Medicated and now no pain....
LIANNE>>> HOW DID IT GO??????? THis is exciting to see how we are handling things.

Sounds delish! I use whole milk so maybe that's the difference. I get this really good, grass fed cream top variety. I'll have to see if they make 1/2 too or else I'll just mix in some HC. My batch turned out pretty good this time.

I read conflicting reports on this stuff as to how it tastes. I guess you must rinse and soak them first, and simmer them for a while to rid them of the "fishy" taste/smell. And some say they are a great replacement for real spaghetti. Some say they are rubbery.

I am going to try them and use them with shrimp. I am going to mix in a little cream cheese and lemon juice. If they are OK, I will let you all know. If not, then whatever.

Has anyone else out there ever used these? If so, what is your opinion? I never ventured into something like this in the past. So I am very curious about them.

I've tried these before, Paulette. I didn't get the tofu variety though because I avoid soy. What I do to get rid of the fishy taste is to drain and rinse themm really good then microwave them for 30 seconds, drain and rinse again, then mocrowave again. Do this for a few cycles. It draws out the fishy water. I liked them ok, but they are a bit rubbery.

DAY 1......2/28/16:

HAPPY SUNDAY! I'm down 3 pounds from where I was on Thursday. That's encouraging. I know it's just water, but it's a good start.

Yesterday was BUSY. I went to visit my son at his home away from home and we played basketball for an hour and a half. He's a tall athletic type so I don't stand a chance, but he let's me win some and keeps me active in the process.
Craig and I then went to the driving range. He's determined to make me a golfer. That is such a workout! I am so stiff and sore today. I think I'm working muscles my body doesn't even know it has. I have fibro though so it doesn't take much to make me sore.

CN is next Saturday. I'm kind of looking forward to it. A bowl of cheerios or golden grahams sounds really good, and I think we'll eat pizza. I'm thinking a banana split sunday sounds good too. I'm not looking forward to the day after tho. I hate that sluggish feeling.

Guess that's it. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend.

Default My Carb Nite on Saturday

Carb Nite was really good. It lasted about 6 hours. Started with a couple bowls of cereal with 2% milk and a handful of cookies. Then fish nuggets and kettle cooked malt chips. Ended with a Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry from McDonalds.

HI Dusti Happy that you also posted a daily weight chart like Paulette & I did. A weight loss is a loss so who care but the reasons Bad enought when it comes back, so we might as well celebrate it going! I Like yogurt but I am not the tyoe to make it. Of course I DID take a look at the store bought and WOOOWWWWEEE are they high in carbs. I like your meal plan and interesting that you said you get sluggish the day after.. Paullete was a whirrling Dirvish! I was dragged out tired and headachey and that is from my perpetual lack of decent sleep. At least I DID pretty much sleep t hrough with al those carbs. just the increased heat got me up.

LIANNE...SO, how you doing the day after? foods sounded good and yummy! I am getting geared up for my Trix or whatever it is called.. the stuff that is ALPHEBITS and those little stars etc..Sugar fest right there.

I just got out of bed..napping lightly for a couple of hours..Jodi had mandatory OT for a little so I got called to feed the herd.
All fed before 7:30am which was good since the farrier was here to trim only five but he was nice and gave spring shots to 10 of them. In 2 weeks he gets to come back and give more vacinations. I dislike giving horses shots. Do small animals and have give then thier shots but hate it! Now with the bad right shoulder it would be next to impossible for me.
Actually I lost 0.8 so I was thrilled to see my math error Looks like this will work.
ABOUT that tofu....will string speghetti work as well for the pasta? I was thinking about getting the veggimatic thingy. Is it worth it???
I started off the foods today with WF hot choc drink and a larg glopping of hc. No, I will guess it to be 3/4 cup.It is lamost 2pm. Had some chicken livers plain left over from yesterday and enjoyed that cold. What can I say... Jodi hates the stuff and Stacy the older one loves it..It is a cheap buy and has 19g protein per 4 oz raw..a little is lost in cooking but I drik the liquid..all well seasoned..I like my meats rare...FAT is 5g (same as HC) and carbs are TC 1 per serving.lots of iron in there 60% and I was stunned to see it has 250% VIT A DAILY! VIT c is 35%. For once I like something healthy! It fits into my budget and no one else here is diving into it

Down .8 lbs this morning. I am (practically) back to where I was before the CN, so I am happy.

Since I am going in for surgery this morning, I am certain my weight will go up the next couple days due to swelling, and it will mask any further losses I may have. I will continue to post the weights daily as I love to track things like this.

I am still planning on having my next CN on Thursday.

I was fine yesterday. Got up around 9. The only thing I ate yesterday was leftover cold bacon. Also had my coffee and water.

This morning I'm not hungry. I'm enjoying my coffee with HWC. Will drink lots of water when I get to work as well as more black coffee. Made up a tin of tuna mixed with mayo, jalapeno slices, salt, pepper and garlic powder for lunch. Have pork rinds that I can eat with it if I feel like it. Supper will probably be scrambled eggs. Bought some ground flax meal yesterday and plan to start enjoying the one minute flax muffins again. I haven't made those in years and they are so good!

Hope everyone has an awesome on plan day!

Paulette good luck on your surgery! Prayers all goes fantastic and you have a speedy recovery. I dont know what your having done but in Dec when I had my hysterectomy I came home 14 lbs heavier. Yeah on the drop!! Your doing great!

Lianne do you mind sharing tat muffin recipe? I vaguely remember the minute muffins. I wish I got that not hungry issue after CN. Im always hungry

Cricket looks like your right on track! I have the Veggeti pro and it works fab on vegetables like zucchini for making noodles. I just gagged at your livers I see they do pack a nutritional punch! .

MY CN ended up not being vacation protocol or CN. Pretty much just a weekend off. I'm sure the scale would be up from water weight if I checked but the jeans are still lose so that is all I care about. Its not like it happens often Dh and I get a whole weekend away along

We did a ton of swimming and got the pool to ourselves every time I forgot it could actually make your muscles sore! So anyway~ back to normal today!

I had 2 eggs and a sausage patty for breakfast

lunch plan is a tuna patty with mixed veggies

dinner will be burgers with mixed veggies again!

I really wanted kefir but it isnt fermented yet. I'm going to start mixing kefir with greens powder as soon as the powder comes. Besides greens the powder has all you vitamins and minerals. I've been feeling kind of run down yet since surgery in Dec and am hoping it will help give me a boost!

I dont feel like going to the gym today so I will be doing a DDP yoga video as soon as breakfast digests

Hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Hi LIANNE~~~ SOunds like you are in major control of everything and you are doing great with your menu. For me, planning now is what do I eat now!

PAULETTIE... lol.. I know you LOVE to track. Not far behind you but I love charts and graphs By the time I write this you will be out of surgery! Take the pain meds!!! Feel good!

CHELLE~~~well, that sounds like you are going to be great. You know what to do

MIM: 1 lg egg
1/4 C ground flax seeds
1/4 tsp baking powder
sucralose ( to taste) ..old original is one packet Splenda
( I USE THE LIQUID)
and BUTTER.... minimum 1 Tbl.. I think this stuff is dry so I use more.. and put in small bowm or mug..
nuke for 1 min.

I like to make it in a larger flatter bowl so it is more like a pancake, I cover it with sf syrup or jam or an egg

Back is still not good. Sitting on ice packs...
AM water logged again but I had a midnight snack of sourceam and sunflower seeds so I will weigh in later.
BBL...shout out to Dusti
