Well, here I am about ready to go to the gym but I remain unsure about what I'll be working.

Today is supposed to be a leg day and it probably will be one. However, I'm a bit tentative about Shoulders, Tri's, and Bi's coming up so soon on Tuesday which is what would be in order if I worked legs today. The reason is because I went for a nice long motorcycle ride yesterday, and although it was enjoyable I just have a sense that the vibration of the handlebars didn't do this left elbow injury so well.

I guess there are a couple of ways I could swing this. I could make today a 60 minute cardio day and do legs tomorrow, or I could just go ahead and do legs then see how the elbow feels tomorrow.

I'm guessing the later is what I'll do. I'd really love to get a leg workout in today, and in fact, I'd like to get two leg days in this week. However, I don't think I'll make the decision until I actually get to the gym...

I'm also thinking that I might change my split to lifting days on M,T, and T,F rather than MTW, F... I don't have my head quite wrapped around it yet, but what I'm looking for would be fewer days wherin I did Chest and Back side to side on my days of Shouders, Tri's and Bi's. I think I'll play around with several different splits and see what I can come up with this evening.

Best of luck to everyone. And cheers!

Awwwwwww yeaa.....

I just had a killer leg workout... The kind whereafter you have to use the hand grip to pull yourself up into the truck. lol

I'm not totally sure what's going to be on tap for tomorrow. I feel pretty safe to use the left elbow again, however, just for safety sake I may do cardio instead.

Or sit in the hot tub...

Oh yeah......those are the best!! I rarely work legs that hard anymore.....but sometimes they still let me know how they're doing.

Chest, Back, and 20 minutes cardio..

I cut the cardio short because I left the house and forgot my iPod.

Prolly worth noting is that I was 216.2 today --down from 221 on Monday. The 221 was the result of about 5 high-calorie days back to back in my attempt to speed up my metaboism. I'm hoping that after having done those 5 days in a row I can now have steady results with a high-calorie day every 4th day only.

Shoulders, Tri's and Bi's tomorrow + a little more Stairmaster.

I probably wouldn't have even attempted it. Cardio without music is nearly impossible! Unfortunately.....the music I listen to while working-out imprints itself into my head and everytime I wake-up during the night I have whatever I listened to that day going in my head . It's not good for sleeping.

Shoulders (good), Tri's and Bi's (both good too!)

...then I did 33 minutes Stairmaster - HA!

And hey ya, Spud! - I'm actually working at a gym now in addition to my regular work which is a little stuff I do on the web. If they don't offer you that job though, maybe we can get their phones turned off nevertheless.. lol

Good seeing you too, Debbie. I'm wondering what kind of music you might be listening to. With me, when I'm on the weight floor it's usually hard rock. Think Nickleback, Dope, Nine Inch Nails, etc.. When I get on the cardio equipment, however, it can just as easily be disco - lol. I just need a really fast beat.

60 minutes eliptical scheduled for tomorrow - no weight.

Hope all is going well with you guys - and cheers!

Good morning J.K.

My favorite right now is "Barenaked Ladies." The one that has Grade 9 on it. Very upbeat and fun music and you can sing along and dance to it if you feel so inclined. Which ever so often I do . I have several others that get in the rotation as well, but right now BNL is my favorite. I usually put together a mixture of songs and artists on a tape. Songs that motivate me.

Now see-- I have no idea who these people are. I'm betting you and I would not find the same music inspiring.

Tunes! Man I love rock music!

Alice in Chains (my all-time favorite band), Green Day, Offspring, Papa Roach, Disturbed, NIN, Three Days Grace, Crossfade, Puddle of Mudd, Staind, Hoobastank - whatever new music that they're playing on the local rock station. As long as it kicks!

Hey Gang..

Here's ma' current mix. I'm betting you know some of these, Debbie..

I also kinda get a kick when I think about the fact that Stacy's Mom is one of the most popular songs in the gym.

It's not every hard, but for all you 35+ ladies out there deep bows...

Enjoying an off day today, but looking straight down the barrel at a leg day on Monday - HA!
