Unhappy anyone on south beach diet?

Hey everyone! im almost 14, and im desperate to lose some weight before school starts. im 5'2 and weigh about 119 now, but i have three weeks until school starts and i want to weigh about 105! i started the south beach diet about a month and a half ago, but i have already started over 3 or 4 times! its not that i have craving that cause me to cheat, but whenever i last for over five days, i keep getting so sick of having nothing but salad and chicken...so i cheat! does anyone else have this problem!?! i would love to lose this weight by school, but i need so support!

Ok........I have a 14 year old daughter.....and she is all the time wanting to loose weight too. The thing I want you to ask yourself is "Am I loosing this weight to be a healthier me or to show up my girlfriends or impress a boy?"

South Beach is a very healthy way of eating and can be done my young people as well as old(Im 34 but not ancient)

First of all....talk to your mom. Let her know you want to loose. Ask her to buy the book for you.....paperback at walmart....less than $6. If she wont.....this is her way of telling you no you are not going to do the South Beach diet.

Your weight is not any unhealthy one. You should maintain where you are by eating good lean cuts of meat(not only chicken), veggies(not only salads) and fruits. And Milk, you can have skim if you want to cut out calories but you are still growing so you need the calcuim for your bones(i know, i know, i sound like a mom, but its because i am one.... ) You will probably even loose a few pounds after school starts back because you will be in PE and will be more active.

Good luck to you.......
