Default can egg beaters substitute real eggs on meat and egg fast?

I have done the meat and egg diet several times and would like to know if you can do the egg beaters in place of regular eggs ,it seems like they would be much better for you and I think they are lower in calories? angela

You could and they are lower in calories, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that they are better for you. Egg beaters are basically just the whites of the egg with some coloring added to make them look like whole scrambled eggs. The problem with this is most of the nutrients in eggs are in the yolks.
Interestingly enough, Egg Beaters have about double the sodium content of a whole egg, so if you are sensitive to sodium, it could cause some water retention if you eat a lot of them. I'd say stick with whole eggs; your body needs the nutrients since you're not giving it much else besides meat and eggs.
