Default Need advise from all you exercise guru's please!

So I am an NOT liking how thin I get up on top, and how hard it is to lose my bum & thighs.

NOW that being said, I have noticed a HUGE difference in my hips/bum/thighs since doing 30 day shred.. BUT still I am super thinned out on top(umm no chest & and collar bones very prominent) and still bottom heavy.

What I am looking for is some exercise I can do at home, on top of my norm, to help with my problem areas so I look more evened out.

Do you know of some bum/thigh/hip exercises that work really well?

Videos would be great so I can see exactly (and by videos I mean like youtube or something. I'm happy with the DVD's I already have, don't want to buy anything, just want a few more basic exercises to do )

Fat distribution seems to be highly genetically influenced, as is, um, other kinds of distribution.

Targeted exercises to your hips and thighs will only tone them, it will not help get rid of the fat there. Only losing fat, will get rid of the fat there, and most likely it will be the very last fat you lose. (mine will be in my love handles, last to go)

Targeting your upper body, though, may tone and very slightly bulk up where you're "unbalanced."

I'd go to t-tapp.com and look at their 'try before you buy' moves. I really love the workouts.

Build some upper body muscle.

I was just talking about this in my journal the other day. A couple/three months ago my shoulders and upper chest were starting to look a little on the too-bony side. I began lifting weights with a trainer at the beginning of September, and now I'm starting to notice I'm getting more flesh back there. Muscle, not fat. (Yay, deltoids!) Looks much better, and since my shoulders and upper thighs are just about exactly the same width now, so I've got a perfect hourglass, not pear, thing going on.

You can't spot lose fat. Fat is layed down and removed in line with your genetics.

Yes, get bigger on top and you will look more balanced. Downstairs will never come off if it's your shape.
