Default Another complication of statins

As if diabetes, memory loss, muscle pain, permanent muscle damage and the general fact that statins will increase your lifespan by an average of 14 days, let's add a new complication to the list: cataracts.

It truly is a wonder drug! As in, I wonder how they manage to get prescribed and sold legally.

They should be banned! The trouble is, simply withdrawing them, taking the millions of people off them would cause no end of panic and litigation. But thats what they should do. I've been reading so much about cholesterol and CHD recently, I find it hard to believe that low fat and statins caught on!!!!

Look at this ridiculous advert we had in the UK a few years ago http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X89nb47O00g
