Great job everyone

I'm running behind on my night routine because I spent 3 hours grooming my dog, but I should still get at least 7 hours. I'm reminding myself that the point is not to stress about following the schedule perfectly, that I'm doing this to have a better life and not as torture.

Hope everyone is having a good night!

Dec 30 - March 30 * Protein prioritization and strength training

Yesterday: 2/2
Successful protein goal days: 4/4
Successful workout days: 4/4

Batting 1.000 so far, though that's pretty easy sitting at home in the new year. I go back to work on Tuesday.

Manda, laying out one's clothes the night before is smart. I have it easy because I wear uniforms, but the idea is kind of the same. I stay caught up on laundry, and out of the dryer, each day's outfit goes on one hanger. I also have a 'launch pad' that's taken care of the night before - my bag hung on the door for anything I need to take with me. Good luck adjusting to being an early bird like Froka and I.

Good job, all!

Nice work Jeff, Manda, and Kristine. Kristine, from the term 'Launch Pad' it sounds like you follow the FlyLady system - it changed my life! Never going back to not having a system for my home again.

Stuck with it yesterday. 8g carbs and no fast food or restaurants.

Fast food habit days successful: 64/90 (started 11/01/20, ends 01/31/21)
Carb habit days successful: 17/90 (started 12/10/20, ends 03/09/21)

My carb habit:
Keep carbs to 100g or less daily.

My fast food habit:
No restaurants/fast food for 90 days, with the exception of date nights with my husband. (It must be an actual date, we can’t just go out to dinner to go out to dinner.)

YES! Correct! I was raised by a born-organized mom and had to learn myself (mainly from FlyLady) how to have routines, etc.

Manda, do you feel like you're getting enough sleep? That's important for our weight loss/maintenance goals, too. If you want, I can ban your account from 9:00 pm - 6:00 am so you get to bed earlier.

Dinner was after 7:00 tonight, so I'm already full and there won't be any snacking, other than some tea.

Lol I got 8 and 7 hours. Tonight I'm on track for 8 (I got through my routine and just need to meditate for 5-10 minutes). I'll let you know if my bedtime creeps up.

Good night

Day 3/90 of waking up at 6am: done.

So, I'm learning getting up is okay, but my circadian rhythm favors working a bit later in the day. After noon my head is clear and can be more creative. I just perform better in the afternoon.

What I'm thinking: not working when I'm too hazy or groggy. I came up with morning and night routines before starting the challenge. I'm going to swap items between the checklists, so that anything requiring critical thinking doesn't happen too early.

For example, I have my yoga and workouts at night, so if I get stuff like that done in the morning, then I can work a couple of hours later into the evening. If/As I get used to being up early I can rearrange again and get my work done early.
