Default Another Vitamin question.........

I take a multi vitamin every day...just the kind from the drugstore, not Atkins formula........also taking Calcium supplements twice a day and a B complex......is this okay?

Should I take more than 1 multi-vitamin per day?

Thanks, Amy

Definitely do NOT take more than one multi per day. There are other supplements which you could add and which might help you on a low-carb lifestyle, but two multis would be dangerous.

Hi Amy!

One multi per day is plenty along with the B vitamins and calcium. Does your calcium have magnesium with it? If not, that's something you might want to consider; 2 parts calcium to 1 part magnesium. One more supplement that you might want to consider is potassium, but only if you are not taking diuretics or medication for high blood pressure (check with your doctor or pharmacist first if you are), but if you eat a lot of spinach, broccoli or avocados you may not need it.
