My daughter's T3 (total) is high, normal TSH and T4
Hi all,
My daughter is suffering from dilated cardiomyopathy since a she was 1.5 month old. She is now 10 months old.
Since we discovered the disease, no one asked us to do a thyroid test. However, and during admission in another hospital, one doctor told me that some of her current strange symptoms could say that she has problem with thyroid. I came through some articles about some cases that were classified as thyroid-induced cardiomyopathy.
My daughter and before the recognition of cardiomyopathy had some symptoms, like being nervous and unstable, she was hungry all the time, sweating heavily, her skin's temperature was always high although her measured temperature was around 98 all the time. Also she was sleeping little.
After cardiomyopathy, all the symptoms continue as past except the appetite one. Also she is very active and only sleeps about 5-7 hours per day.
the last two symptoms completely contradict with her heart status. She was supposed to be so weak and can't even move.
So, we did the test for her and the results are attached.
I'm not sure what's the meaning of the results!
I have an appointment with the specialist but after one month.
any advise?
