Default starbucks whip cream carb count

I ordered a roast coffee grande with whip cream. They put whip cream on the bottom and the top! I googled Starbucks and got 1-2 carbs for whip cream. Does that sound right? She used a larger cup and had about 2" of cream on the top.

Pretty sure Starbucks just uses regular canned whipped cream.

According to RediWhip , that comes to 1g carb per 2 TBS.

So figure 8 TBS on top, and 4 on bottom... about 6 carbs, maybe double if she was generous. (4TBS of whipped cream is really not much.)

They serve the regular whipped cream with sugar.
If I go there I have to order coffee with heavy cream and to make sure I say no sugar. Then I double check that they're giving me the heavy cream with NO sugar, then I say right??

Several years ago I use to order the Mocha Frappuccino and when I found out the carb count I couldn't believe it.
The carb count is 84g and the sugar alone is 80g
That's just outrageous!

I used to like those too. The last time I ordered it, it was so sweet I couldn't drink it.

I can be really dumb, eat or drink first, not think of the carbs until I go to log them! My constant habit is to get plain coffee with heavy cream - I need to stick with that.

OH Starbucks... I had a torrid affair with them off and on for years... I "got away" with lite frappes by ordering nonfat milk, lite base and SF or half the pumps of flavoring. The light base I was told was made with stevia, but I am not sure that was the only sweetener in it. They did away with light base, and Starbucks and I got a divorce. Now I just order a flat white or something just decaf/half n half on the rare occasions I am there. Plus an alarming too many times they goofed the order and I was up at 2 AM because they didn't get the decaf part right - even if I said it twice....

I've had that happen too. I mostly get their coffee as a treat, or because I'm exhausted and their coffee is nice and strong.

I always specify Half 'n Half. I know for sure what that is (or should be) and it has no carageean that I do not want. The local gro HEB started adding it to their local "Half 'n Half" store brand so I voted with my feet!
