I had the best dinner last night of a simple grilled Ribeye, salad and green beans cooked with some really tasty meat bits.

we went out twice this weekend:

friday was a riceless sushi roll- it is a cucumber wrap with crab, tuna, and some kind of white fish, plus asperagus.
i also had a HUGE sashimi salad.

SOOO good!

sunday-
my boyfriend is worried that i am still very underweight from a very long illness so he took me to a crabhouse and ordered the Duggar family sized steamer platter. snow king crab legs (my favorite food!!!), whole crabs, shrimp, clams and mussels.
plus we shared a side salad- blue cheese on mine.

i am super spoiled now

Pork steak coated with mayonnaise and crushed pro rinds. I scraped off the coating. Way too salty and mushy.

ooh, this sounds great- what is in the dip? is it like guacamole?

my boyfriend has been gluten free for a few years and has danced with the idea of low carb but never stuck it out long enough to get through induction. he has a decent diet, but lately he has really been eating cr~p- tons of fries, and even bread (not even gluten free). his stomach is a mess, and he has headaches and doesn't sleep well, etc....
i would never comment (as a professional, it is not cool to lecture my family and friends. i only offer advice when i m on the clock!). imagine my happy dance when last night he said he wants to try again!!!!!
so cleaning out the cupboards for 2 days to not waste food and off we go!

tonight- watermelon, corn on the cob, a hamburger, and green beans for him
green beans with garlic lemon juice for me as a "bed" to nest a sunnyside up egg and goat cheese.
