i am not sure i am the right person to answer this question....but....here is my 2-cents anyway...

i go to the gym 2-3 times a week. 1 time i take a class (aerobics of some kind, usually step) the other 2 times i do 30 min of weights and 30 min of cardio. there are some weeks i go more often, but not very often, this is the schedule i am able to do on a regular basis and i figure this is better then nothing!!

so, not sure how to answer your question on how to incorporate weight routine into your workout..... weight routine is PART of your workout right?? you may find some more help over in the gym section of this forum.
