Default "I lose more when I keep my carbs between ___ and ___."

From time to time someone on this board makes the statement, "I lose more when I keep my carbs between ___ and ___." I'd like to hear more about that. I'm wondering how common it is and what the typical ranges might be.

I generally keep my carbs as close to 20 total (not net) as I can reasonably, although I do allow myself to upswing to closer to 30 a few days a week if the excess is veggies.

I've not played around with higher carb levels this time but did in the past and the 20 net carb level was needed then, which is why I keep carbs as low as I do - it's generally harder and slower for me to lose this time (5 years later) so I don't think more carbs would help, and I'm pretty happy eating this way.

I'm interested in hearing other peoples stories too.

I'm the same as Parismama. Lose best at 20g and if I go to 30g, it is from extra vegetables, like a big lunch salad. No nuts, almost no cheese or dairy, no wine. (Now if I will Just Do It )

And both of you are at or near your goals...... interesting.

I'm wondering if as the BF% goes down if a few carbs are beneficial to force the pancreas to cycle insulin.
