Default "Is that me?"

I worked a flea market for the boy scouts this weekend, and we had a ton of furniture, a bunch of dressers with mirrors. I walked past one at one point, and didn't even recognize myself. Dunno, maybe you become accustomed to the angle at home that you see yourself in, and seeing myself in a different mirror was just a bit of a shock.
I swear to god I had to do a double take.
It was really wierd.

i did that last week with a photo. i swear, i see myself as a huge whale or a hot mama, depending on the clothes i have on lol. but we were taking some funny pics at work last week and i saw myself and my face, holy crap! it just looked so skinny, it didn't even LOOK like me for a minute. i guess that's good, right?

on another note, do you find yourself checking out your new bod? whenever i use the restroom at work, i always have to check out my butt and my gut, and push/pull/drag my body into a more thin silouhette in my reflection.

OMG. EVERY TIME. I pull up my top and suck in and see how skinny I can look. And when I'm lying in bed, I find myself touching my hip bones. I also find now that when I sit on something hard (like my concrete steps at home) I can feel my tailbone. It feels wierd. glad to know I'm not the only freak.

Daisy,
You've worked hard to achieve your goals and you've done great! Stand in front of the mirror and admire your new body!
