I have no lunch plans for any Saturdays in July.

Sorry I missed you all last week - parking nonsense seems to be solved, at least for now. Why do people think they can park in the middle of a fire lane and block my access to my house? Grrrr.....

We had that problem the whole time when the Commonwealth Games were here. We lived on Edgelow (very near the university) and people desperate for parking used to block our driveway regularly - we almost came to blows with a few who insisted they COULD park there!

Ok, thread jack alert here!



Now that I have your attention



It's been 2 months since my beloved Lucy passed away and 18 months since I lost Sally and I decided that I was ready to get some new kittens.

So.....I went out today and bought a cute little pair of calico mix kittens (girls). If I owned a camera, I'd take pix but as I don't, I will have to wait for DD to get home so I can borrow hers.

Back to our regularly scheduled conversation.....

I love calico's! Can't wait to see pix. I sure miss my cat (17) & dog (13)- it's almost been a year since they died within 6 weeks of each other.

About where to eat - I have to pick up something just before the Bay Street bridge so I am open to pretty well anywhere for lunch.

So ..... do we have a restaurant called Calicos here, or are we still wondering where we're going? I have no problem with most of the places we've already been although Red Robin can sure get crowdy and noisy!

Julie, hasn't DD taken any pix yet of your kittens? We're waiting here!!!
