Angry Any advice/reassurance appreciated!

I am on week 2 of my CKD, (approaching the 3rd carbup)
and on tuesday, after registering ketosis from my sunday carbup, my weight jumped 9 pounds from monday. My waistline grew accordingly! I thought it was just a reaction to the jump in outside temperature, and that I would adjust - but the weight is still up and so are the inches.
I've cut bacon (as trainer Dan suggested), drink 1.5 gals of water/day, cut all dairy (except cream in my coffee) and am a little worried.

Any tips to squeeze the water out?
Thanks,
Meg

Is it TOM, by chance? With me, if you combine TOM plus carb up, I'm stuck with the water for a good week to 10 days. Example: carbed up and went from 211 to 215, hit 217 mid week, stayed at 215 throught the NEXT carb up and didn't drop the H2O til after the 2nd carb-up.

Good luck!

PS - another possible tip - if your scale is adjustable, make sure it didn't get bumped. I've had cats, toddlers and a stumbling hubby accidentally tweak mine.

Hm, not expecting TOM this weekend, but I did just go off the pill a month or so ago, so maybe I'm not regular yet and it will actually visit.
Thanks!
Meg

ps: hearing about the tom weight gains holding on for 2 weeks or so really helps in reassuring me. I can tell myself that it is just temporary, and things will even out soon, But my shorts are tight NOW!!! Which makes me worry and need to read these kinds of things.
