Yes, Chrissie, I was not budging - but this morning let me see a drop. I am hoping I can see a couple more drops before Saturday so I can be at where I was last week before CN. But I am still not going to hit my lowest. It is elusive and I have only seen it pop up a couple times the past month.

I am stable this morning. I was hoping for a loss but they are eluding me this week. I am still 1.8 up from last week.

I am nervous about having a CN tomorrow. I am considering not eating any corn. I will have to be conservative and do the best I can. There will be bratwurst, so perhaps I will just do a LC day tomorrow instead. But if I start feeling deprived, I will give in and do the CN regardless. I am supposed to do it once a week. That is an important rule of CNS.

The days will be beautifully sunny and in the 70's with low humidity through the weekend! I am not going to fret and fuss about it all because I simply want to enjoy these days while they are here. I shall enjoy my CN with my friends tomorrow.

And may you all have a wonderful weekend, too!!!!

I dropped .6# weighing today at 186.0. Not much but I'll take what I can get these days. Man, is my BP ever dropping now that I'm doing my walking regimen every single morning. Typical readings now around 106-111 over 60-70's. Trying to take almost NO ibuprofen for my chronic pack pain is helping to drop it also. Going to ask my doc when I go back in Oct. to drop me back to 25 mg of the Metoprolol. Usually when my BP gets around 106/60 I start having dizzy spells. Dropping that med might help with weight loss a bit, too, as it is known to have the side effect of weight gain.

We're grilling ribeyes tonight to have with a green salad. Hope everyone has a great day.

Hello Ladies!
Happy Saturday.

There must be something in the air. It has been a rough two weeks for me also. I gained something like 5.5 from CN two weeks ago, only got 5.0 of it off for a gain of .5. Then last Sat. CN, I was only up 3.5 and thought for sure that I was going to have a great loss for the week as I was down 3.5 plus another .5 by Thursday. Only another 1.0 loss by this morning for me, total of 1.5 for the week, and 1.0 for two weeks. Tough couple weeks for sure.

Paulette, eat your corn and enjoy! Enjoy your CN, I know that I am.

Chrissie, hang in there, your whoosh is on the way.

Peggy, I do eat Turkey at the holiday's. Just meant that I don't eat a lot of processed lunch meats is all.

And, Paulette is right, the 2-3 pound losses are water whoosh's, the fat is much harder to get off!

Budy, I sometimes will have a gain 2 to 3 days post CN.

CN tonight for me. We are going to an English Pub, I can't decide on bangers and mash, or fish and chips, or shepherds pie.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Weighed 187 today, so up a pound. So I'm not at all excited about Carb Nite tonight. Hubs wants pizza out so I guess that's what we'll have.

Hello all! We are getting ready to go get the corn a-roasting.

I had a whoosh this morning of 2.4 lbs, so I am under my last week weight by .4 lbs! I certainly was not expecting it and it was such a happy surprise!

I will chime in tomorrow and let you all know what the damages are.

Have a great weekend all! Enjoy your pizza, fish-n-chips, or whatever! I hope all our CN gains are small and disappear right away with a big loss for the coming week!

Smile happy blessed sunday!

PAULETTE......congrats on that awesome unexpected, totally rad whoosh!! catch a wave dude
i hope you enjoyed your roasted corn as much as (or MORE than even) i did mine

PEGGY.......sorry for your bounce yesterday . i hope you see something better this morning!

ROX.....i hope you had a bangin' cn last night! we need details.....

well, despite the roasted corn & maybe a few nibbles of some bad but delicious things , i still managed to lose 0.4 this morning! you can definitely call last night an impromptu cn, so this is a 1st for me, having a loss the morning after a cn. i only know 1 other person to have ever done that

Good morning everyone.

Congrats on the whoosh Paulette! Hope you enjoyed the corn and CN.

Wow, nice job Chrissie on losing after a CN. I have never done that before.

My CN (carb day) was biscuits and gravy, just ate one. Couple bites of my Son's Monte Cristo sandwich, (it was delish).

Double scoop ice cream cone.

About half of my shepherds pie, couple bites of my hubs fish and chips, bite of my Son's banger and mashed curry, bite of my other Son's corned beef hash.
A lemon drop mixed drink.

1/3 of a brownie, 1/3 of lemon bar, bite of Becca's cake.

I had a 3 pound gain this morning. I am very pleased.

Happy Sunday all.

Hello all! I only had a 2.8 lb gain from yesterday's CN.

I did not eat any corn. Before we left, I was nibbling on Cranberry/Flax Granola, Wheat Thins and Triscuits. And I had a bowl of Cream of Wheat earlier around 1pm. So I was not hungry during the corn roast. I did manage to have 2 bratwurst on buns with onion and sauerkraut. And I drank a Michelob Ultra Light. But then my stomach and guts started rumbling and gurgling! I ended up leaving early because I needed to stick by a bathroom!

I got plenty of carbs in the form of whole grains, with lower fat and sugar. I was planning on a dessert, but all I had was a dose of Maalox instead. It's funny - I was fine all afternoon - but after I ate the brats, I started gurgling. I don't know if it was the brats, the buns, the sauerkraut, or the onions...maybe the whole combination....but they did NOT agree with me!

I sure hope it takes less than 4 days to get my whoosh this time.

CHRISSIE - Wow! A loss after a CN. That is a rare thing. I did not think it was possible. Your body should be storing the carbs, so a gain is expected! I wonder what the heck????

ROX - Your CN gain was just like mine - smallish normal. And you did get to sample a lot of wonderful things!

I hope we can all see a good LOSS this week!!!!!!!

PEGGY - How was your CN? Did you have the pizza? Let us know the results! I hope you had a tiny gain.
