Default Getting back on the wagon before it's too late

Realizing there may be a different answer for everyone, was just curious what other folks on maintenance have done (or what they may recommend).

So I've been on maintenance for just about two years now, and to date have been pretty successful keeping my weight within around 5 lbs of my goal. Due to my own fault and bad choices, my weight has now crept back up to just over 10 lbs of my comfortable goal weight, and I obviously want to put a stop to it before it gets out of hand.

I originally followed what I guess they now call Atkins 20 (Atkins 40 wasn't an option when I started). I guess I'm just wondering what the best approach might be...should I jump back on Induction for a week, or is that too extreme? I was sort of on the fence whether that would be the best approach, or if I should just drop down in the OWL/Phase 2-ish, somewhere below my CCL?

And then probably my bigger question is, what is the best way to get back to my more reasonable, daily maintenance carb level? When I did this originally, I took a ton of time to slowly wind myself up to my maintenance level, and wasn't sure if I needed to do that again once my weight was back where I wanted it. I can't imagine going from Induction, or even 35 or 40 grams of carbs per day to lose this 10 lbs, then immediately going back to 90 is going to work out, but then again, I don't know.

Anyway, sorry to prattle on here...again, just curious what others might have done if/when they invariably found themselves inching too far from their goal weights.

For me, using the Atkins site is a recipe for disaster: their plans are geared around their garbagy products. I'd hit the REAL Atkins induction, and then give myself at least a month, once at goal, at any 5 higher carbs, to see how I did.

Dr Atkins stated that it usually seems that the number of carbs that got you to goal is the number that will keep you there.

If you don't have his book (either the first or the second one) I recommend that you get it, and follow it, not the website.
