As many have suggested, keep it simple and see what happens. Remove all sugar, starchy foods and other crap processed foods, and just eat meat, poultry, fish, eggs and vegetables (lower carb vegetables), and drink lots of water. Eat 3 meals a day, eat till you feel you have satiated your appetite each meal, and then try hard to limit snacks in between meals (celery is a great snack).

If you do the above, you should slowly and surely begin to shed pounds, and your appetite will adjust. Don't cheat, but if you do don't quit, just resolve to do better.

I approach diets like I balance my checkbook....I don't need to know exactly how much I am eating as long s I have a comfort level wit the fact that I am somewhere below my carb ceiling.

Good luck!
