He mentions where you can get the strips for a very good price.

It looks like they're made for cows. Is it the same thing?

LOL! They look like the ones I bought at the Canadian pharmacy.

They do sell the same product for animals but cheaper sometimes. And I was amazed at how easy it was to get antibiotics when my chicken was sick. Walk into the farm store with 5 bucks.

There are a million blood glucose meters out there. Walmart starts selling selling one that can test ketones but doesn't sell the ketone strips? That's not very business savvy.

What am I missing? I don't see ketone meters on that link, or on Walmart's site...

They aren't selling it as a ketone meter. Even though the Relion Ultima is the same exact thing as the Precision Xtra, they're only marketing it as a glucose meter and only sell the glucose strips for it.

I have that model of Relion meter but it's a couple or three years older. I wonder if it's only the newest made ones or my older one too that can run ketone test strips? But don't really want to waste money buying and trying in case it won't. Mine looks just like the picture but I wonder if the newer ones have been technologically updated in some way.
