Default Quick low/no carb meals?

Hey I am new to all of this and I have been looking for recipies all over the place. I was wondering if anyone had some quick recipies? They don't have to be the best thing you have ever tasted, as long as they are quick (as in prep time) then please let me know. Another thing, is tuna an ok thing to eat?

Hi Praz, welcome aboard.

We've got tons of recipes posted here on the form and on our website. Tuna is great and can be used with lots of creativity.

I noticed you just started today, if you haven't read any low-carb book, grab one from you local library. It's an essential aid to complement information that be found in cyberspace.

Yhe website does have a lot of recipies but they require lots of ingredients and take time to make. I am talking about something quick like maybe - tuna (with salt, peper and spices) wrapped in lettuce. That kind of thing. Short, sweet and requires hardly any prep time and can take to work, school, wherever. If anyone knows some quick things to make let me know. BYE.

Hi Praz,

Welcome to the board!

As Wa'il said, reading a book about the how's and why's of low-carbing is essential! Protein Power or Dr. Atkin's New Diet Revolution will get you off to a good start. Many questions will surface in your mind as you delve into low-carb and being as informed as you can will give you the keys to success.

Many recipes exist in cyberspace. Here is a biggie to get you started.
