Default Good reference for supplements

Hi Everyone,
I know most of the low carb diet books have sections (generally small) on supplements, but I find them all lacking (well, the 3 I have read anyway). Does anyone have a good reference for supplements? Something that describes what they are, why we need them, how much we need, and the best sources of them?
thanks

The internet. It is like a big book in a way. That is where I read about the supplements I take (mainly D and the Bs).

Yes, but there is so much nonsense on it. It's hard to filter quality information from someone's opinion. I was hoping someone might know of a good book with solid references.

This isn't bad, although it is out of date on D3:

http://www.amazon.com/Doctors-Compl...02171481&sr=8-1

It is written by the wife of Dan Eades, of Protein Power fame.
