Question Do I need to take K2 to prevent D3 toxicity?

The Jaminets argue that it is necessary to take K2 to avoid D3 toxicity.

Thoughts, anyone?

And does anyone have a product to recommend?

I have been Mg deficienct for a long while, due to an undetected gluten problem and will probably need to take Mg for a long while before my bones are healthy again. Do I need to take K2 to balance all the supplements out???

These are what I use
Life Extension, Super K, with Advanced K2 Complex,
I also regularly make bone marrow stock that I use in casseroles /soup etc.
I do it mainly for insurance even though I use Vitamin K rich food sources

I was using relatively high amounts of vitamin D before I started with the vitamin K and I am certain I didn't suffer any toxic effects from the Vitamin d. I'm not convinced that if you already have good food sources you NEED to supplement.

Unless you have reason to believe you have a particular need to supplement than I'm not convinced it's vital however you really do need to check food sources and make an effort to make your own marrow bone stock and keep a good gut flora. However there are no adverse effects reported for higher levels of vitamin K intake from food and/or supplements, there are no documented toxicity symptoms for vitamin K.
So it's a matter of is it worth it and that depends on what you have to pay and how much you use.
The perfect health diet provide many good reasons as to why it may be helpful for particular at risk groups. Use Control F enter "vitamin K" and skim through entries on Vitamin K.

AOR K2

I like this brand because they give you lots of research material to read before you decide whether to use a given product or not.
