Curious about probiotics
I just had a thought and I decided to post it here to see if someone would know the answer.
They are now saying to eat Greek yogurt because it is more dense in protein, but I am wondering about the probiotics in it. Are they in the liquid that is drained from the yogurt or are they in the yogurt that is left after the draining. I would think they would be more dense in one or the other.
I'm sure that live probiotics would be listed because it was in the original yogurt, just like the sugars are listed because they were in the original milk that was used to make the yogurt even though most of the lactose is changed into lactase during the process of fermentation.
So my curiosity is asking--are the probiotics more dense in the liquid or the solid?
