Default Wildeone's attempt at moving

Tomorrow I'm going to start upping the amount I move my body. Current Level - sloth

Not good - I drive everywhere, sit on the sofa most nights and avoid getting sweaty at all costs. I paid for a gym membership last year for an entire year and used it once .... I am not doing that again. So my exercise will be either at home or outdoors not on Gym equipment.

Tomorrow's a new day

Have a look around for Zumba classes, you pay as you go. They are good fun & it's easier to find a friend to drag along than it is to the gym. There are people of all ages there from teenagers to pensioners in the last one I went to.
I look forward to hearing all about it tomorrow evening.
Also look at you tube for fitness routines to do at home saves on buying dvd's!!

Day 1

This morning I'm leaving the car at home and walking 1.7miles to work. I then have a meeting that I would normally drive to 10 minutes up the road but i'll walk to that too

I've used walkrunjog website so I know my distance is accurate.

My day is rammed today with running a group this morning, 2 meetings then a presentation tonight that i've done zero prep for! so will have to sit down and prep that at some point.

Grrr The walk didn't happen but I did do 10 minutes of weights.

Today I've just done dance/aerobic around my living room like a loon with 2kg weights in each hand for 30 minutes non stop - for me an achievement and I feel fab

Well done you! Keep it up, remember a little a day keeps the sloth away, lol

Oops I keep forgetting to update this bit - This week saw me do 60 minutes on the Wii step and tonight I'm at a barn dance so hoping to burn off lbs by laughing hysterically at my lack of coordination!
