(It's a prescription vs. OTC, used for diabetics and sometimes off-label for nondiabetics.)

Anyhow, I'd like to hear anyone's experience starting on it and how it did for them. I'm trying the extended release version after having tried it about 10 years ago (but had some nausea then, not this time).

I'm hoping it will help with insulin sensitivity and weight loss. I'm not diabetic, just restarted the med. If you post, can you let me know whether you're diabetic, whether you're on the extended-release version, and about what your daily cals/carbs intake looks like, along with whether you've lost much weight or not with it?
