I had a minor accident yesterday (twisted my ankle) that resulted in a massive adrenalin rush. I did some reading up this morning and learned that adrenalin rush was pushing masses of glucose into my blood stream--and that being fairly early in my current adjustment to very low carb may increase this response. So, while my net carbs were great on paper yesterday, apparently that wasn't what was really happening inside me. I'm feeling a bit more educated this morning and it's all one more nail in the coffin for the CICO argument. Some slight compensation for being up on the scale this morning as a result.
