Default Avocado Time Machine ripen in 10 minutes

Bake it like a potato? Anyone tried this? Bake 10 min, foil wrapped at 200*F till soft then put it in the refrigerator. hard fruit begone it will!

Sorry, 95 Celsius. I just automatically converted to Fahrenheit

Wanted to try, but my one avocado is already ripe and ill have to put it in the fridge if I can't eat it tomorrow.

Damn, I was gonna try that today -- forgot to pick one up.
I just knew there was something I needed from the Mexican Meat Market, and drove by it twice -- Oh, well I am on a fasting stretch now anyway, but I will eventually try it and report back. They put out nice big fresh ones imported for weekends -- many of them are cold and hard so people won't fondle and bruise em

Hard avocado begone!

Didn't work for me on a small Walmart Hass (Mexico) hard 'n green. Might work on a semi-ripe one?

It did get a little softer overnight so I just left it out -- not ready for golf practice yet!
