A new study published in the Journal of Endocrinology suggests that sugar consumption during pregnancy may have serious, long-term health risks for the mental health of both mothers and offsprings beyond the established risks for diabetes and heart disease.

This was a really good read, I am one of the few men on this site So I will not speak on the metal of women and stuff. I only know how my DW was after the 2 kids were born. I am not saying it was sugar, but she has changed since kids were born.

I had gestational diabetes. Given a 300carb/d diet and insulin. NO food management as we know today. Even Dr A said not to eat to drop weight.

I ate well from the allowed foods and GAINed.

Felt deceived by the medical world. Afterall the medical world, in the US, had firmly established the pyramid......and the plate just rearranges the pyramid......
