Default Cream Cheese Weight Stall

I've found cream cheese to be a big time weight staller. CC really does open up the lc lifestyle as far as desserts are concerned. I also use cream cheese as a sort of thickener/binder in some dishes.

Does anyone have an alternative idea for CC that would still lend the bulk and creaminess?

Very thoroughly strained yogurt (labneh) or yogurt cheese.

When I figured out dairy products were a problem I decided it was a waste of time trying to figure out how to substitute around them and just started using recipes where they were never an ingredient (or weren't actually necessary).

Nancy's right: just find recipes that use ingredients that you can eat.

If you're craving creamy richness, how about eating some avocado?

Why would this be any less likely to cause a stall than cream cheese?

Depends on the reason for the stall; fermented dairy products are often better tolerated than non, for instance.

If still stalling, then take Nancy's advice and can dairy altogether.
