I sometimes have to force water in me because i'm so bloated from the cup i had earlier! Doesn't happen too often though, i can usually just drink it like its thin air The more you drink the more chance you have of loosing weight (well a higher chance of loosing a higher amount), anyway good luck with things!

Lately I been bloated no matter how much water I drink. And I drink more than most.2 gallons a day is my average. I think for me it's all the protein making me feel that way.Cause I tend to over salt it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I get bloated from drinking alot of water too. It's not too bad when I'm out at school or something, but if I'm studying at home and drinking water at the same time, I get so bloated, I look pregnant! Is it a bad thing? Like you said, I don't want to stretch my stomach or anything. I always thought the more water the better...is there a limit to how much is good?

I used to feel that way with water, but after a few months (or much less for some people), your body gets used to it, and drinking so much just gets to be a normal daily occurance.

Drinking plain tap water makes me feel bloated and sick feeling. When I was pregnant with my 3rd child, the only water that I could drink was Mountain Valley Spring Water.

You guys need to eat less sodium (salt) it makes you retain water (you drink it, but you don't pee it out)
Common culprits are lunch meats, sausage, baccon, tuna, cheese, and adding salt to your meals. Reducing some of these should help alot.

And for a quick fix, if I'm going out and need my bloated belly to go away, I have a cup or two of coffee a few hours before I go out. It clears the water right out of me. Caffeinated works better but you're not supposed to have caffein on Atkins, and decaf works just fine too, just not quite as well as regular.

Good luck!
