Default I'll be 50 in 3 months can I come in?

Hi all

I'd like to start talking with people in my age range. I'm very happy to have found this site as well as this forum. Some days I can be pretty and others pretty slow so my results are definitely varying.I've been LC'ing since mid January and my sister across the country is LC'ing as well.

I'm a grandma of 3 -- 8 year old and twin 5 year olds. And step-grandma to a 13 year old.
I"m interested in hiking, reading, writing and photography among other things. Have a large middle-aged dog and, oh yeah, a thin middle aged-husband.

I noticed there aren't a lot of posts on this forum. How many people post here?

Hi ya Deb!..Ha Ha I beat you! Just turned 50 in Feb There are quite a few posters here not quite sure what you mean by "a ;ot" no matter. Come right on in and make yourself at home. I sure have Just restarted lc on Feb 14 and restarted on Feb 28 and March 4 and 11 and..... think im getting it now. 1 week and 2 days into a good induction (first 2 weeks on Atkins are called induction), This WOE has been harder for me than quitting cigs which i did Feb 6 (my 50th bday). This forum has been a lifesaver for me cuz folks will hang with you as long as you keep trying and dont give up.That i really appreciate cuz a few times i wouldve been a goner had it not been for the encouragement i receive here. Looking forward to seeing less of you and WELCOME ABOARD.

i keep going back to square one. Seems like I'm ok as long as I follow the menus in the book. Soon as I try to plan my own I get into trouble and then have to go back to square one.

That's great. I quit in my mid 30's. It only took me 9 weeks on the nicotine gum to do that.

Thanks for the welcome. I've already met a great group of folks and hope to meet more.
