HI there. I just buy my pork rinds in Safeway. They are an Old Dutch product called Bacon PUffs, and the ingredient lists lard and pork as the only ingredients. Look in the potato chip section for this product!!
Hope this helps.
Is Old Dutch the only company in Canada that sells the pork rinds? They are not selling around here where I live. That is what the grocery store (Dominion) said.
i buy a brand called Porky's.I have found them at Knectals as well as Zellers.(Woodstock area) They come in bbq, plain and smokey bacon flavor.and have recently been selling for 99cents/bag.Actually they are quite, good, I never dreamed that I would ever eat deep fried pig skin LOL.They are really good gound up and mixed with parmesan cheese and used as a fish batter, delish! Goodluck finding them

I have also found them at Knechtal's ( I live in a small town of 5000 people and they have them) and also at Zehrs- I believe they have the same grocery supplier. Also Zellers. They actually put them in with the doritos and potato chips!
The plain are a bit YUK, but they CAN be used in lots of recipes and as breading for chicken, etc.. I recently tried the Cinna Crisp Pork Rinds (butter, cinnamon, sweetener) and found them a great sweet snack that barely, if at all, tasted of pork. So, don't write them off so quickly!!
I have found pork rinds in large pieces at the Market in Chinatown
here in Edmonton. They are in a plain unmarked bag and unflavored. The large pieces have to be crushed and they make pretty good pancakes.
