okay so here is what i basically do. i eat probably 20-30 grams of carbs a day. sorry dont know much about the specific names of plans and what not.

here is a basic day for me

lunch: 3-4 eggs with jennie o turkey patty
snack-string cheese and peanut butter scoop or quest protein chips
dinner: tilapia/chicken and green beans
snack:quest bar or nuts

pretty basic foods. i just try to eat as low carb as possible with each meal only being a handful of carbs. i only drink water only. any more specifics let me know i can try to answer.

Nice! Simpler = Betterer

Whatever you're doing it's working. I also mostly concentrate on keeping the carbs at a certain level but I eat far more food than you it looks like, but I'm still loosing... for now

Nice work and soon you'll be at your goal. Amazing!

Tanks a bunch, I only drink water, I eat eggs for breakfast but not as many due to my heart.(I know its weird but It happens). I am pretty much doing about the same as you are minus eating the bars. I was eating them but it would take me a week to eat one as a snack at night. I cut the bar into 5-7 pieces. I will get two or three again.

Are you exercising at all? I just walk 30-40 mins a day and longer on weekends if possible

Anymore tips would be great. There are not many guys on this site so we need to hang tight lol

Thanks

i have a treadmill at home. i walk on 3.5 speed for 4 miles (so it takes a little over an hour). i do this 3x/week. thats basically it for exercising.

i also don't eat eggs everyday, only on my off days from work. when im at work i eat grilled chicken and veggies for lunch and then fish/veggies for dinner. i do eat meats too like steak/hamburger meat etc probably twice a week.

Congratulations! What an awesome accomplishment!
Your food list looks like mine, except I don't do fish much. Which is weird, since I live on the coast. I only like a few types of fish, and only eat those when out. I drink unsweetened tea or water. I don't do the bars. I can over eat anything, even LC foods.
Keeping it simple has helped immensely! I've lost 53 lbs in a little over 3 months. Hoping to be on the same track you are on in 7 months. Great job!

Great progress. Thanks for posting. Are you considering ideas for maintenance? I've always had the ability to "diet" some weight off. Keeping it off was always the problem. This time, I have considered maintenance --- almost from day 1. My conclusion... how I eat now is pretty much how I will need to eat to maintain. Going back to eating pizza and donuts never seemed to work for me. I wish you a speedy journey down to goal. The way you have been going, it won't be long. I suggest that you put together a workable maintenance plan to keep the weight off and not let all this effort go for naught.

khrussva ahh congrats to you for the loss to, I just noticed.

I was think the same thing about keeping the weight off. There is no way you can go back once toy lose this much weight. I like the way I look, feel and more.

I think for me its more exercise, and weights after I get to were I need to be.
