Default Did Cardio Last Night...

All I have to say is WOW! At the end of those 20 minutes I felt like I had worked out 40 minutes. It seems like it will be very effective and the 20 minutes went to fast. I walked outside because it was so nice out, took the dog with me, I have a little 10 pound Maltese, he loved it when I would start to speed up, he would break into a run, we both had a good time

Tonight is my dry run with the upper body workout. And of course I have a few questions...In the book he doesn't show any machines for the chest exercises, but on my machine there are exercises for the chest muscles, can I use the machine? or must I use the bench and dumbells as shown in the book?

I am also doing the 6 meals to get used to it. I purchased the chocolate carb solution shake mix, not too bad flavor wise, but I much prefer to add just 1/2 the water it calls for, makes it a little thicker, kinda reminds me of soft pudding.

Can't wait to get started, My Start Date is March 18th

Harley, sure you can use the machines - try to stick with the same muscle groups he demonstrates in the book (press and fly). There are certain exercises that work best when done as your second exercise (For Example, doing flys and then doing 12 presses to finish off wouldnt give you the same results - one is a mid-range exercise - the press- and one is more of a stretching exercise - the fly). You can see the various exercises that can be done on different equipment using this site: Exercise & Instruction, ExRx on the Web - they have a complete exercise directory and a map of both the female and male body for choosing your muscle groups.

You can read more about using exercises and in what order here: Jeanpaul.com There are some examples of 2 and 3 day splits and ab routines.

Isn't that 20 MAS great? I no longer get bored or tired of cardio. Truly amazing!

Nat
