Default Liquid Vitamin D3

Hi, everyone. Anyone know where I can get a good liquid Vit D? I'm having esophageal problems and the pills just seem to get stuck. Plus, I read that liquid vitamins are much more efficient than pills.

Thanks!

Could you just squeeze the oil out of the gel-caps?

It is easy to slide these capsules apart and drop the contents into some food or drink.
They also do a 50,000iu capsule and these would be even easier to slide apart and you would then only have to do this once a week if you wanted to average 7000iu/d or once every 10 days to average 5000iu/d or once a fortnight if you wanted to average 3500iu/daily. Makes it even cheaper if you do that.
The difference between taking D3 weekly instead of daily is marginal as it is so slight. Taking D3 monthly is however measurably slightly less effective so I'd prefer you to adopt the weekly/every 10 days supplementing regimes rather than just monthly. The half life of d3 is around 3 weeks so the longer you leave it between doses the more chance of some loss of benefit.

Thanks, Zuleikaa and Hutchinson.

Nancy, that's a good idea too.

Vitamin d3 lightsource
Low pressure high uvb output tanning tubes could also be considered.

Don't forget sunlight is the best source and free. You just have to take all your clothes off an LAY in the sun for a sensible amount of time when your shadow is shorter than you are tall.

It would be worth getting a 25(OH)d test after 3months to check that the measures you are taking are adequate to raise status to 60ng 150nmol/l.
If not you may need to increase the daily intake by 100iu/d for each extra 1ng needed to reach your target.

This chart shows why I like to keep my status around the 60ng/ml level.

thanks, hutchinson, but I'vw done enough study about this to know that where I am this time of year you can't get enough D from the sun if you laid out all day.
