Sheila, are the almonds spiking your blood sugar or causing inflammation? Those would probably be the signs of a food sensitivity. Otherwise, it's probably just too many calories or carb creep. I often see people jump immediately to giving up a food group (nuts, dairy), when they're really just eating a little bit too much. This can especially be an issue for women, women of a certain age, very short women, and people very close to goal. Are you tracking your food intake? What does your data say? Once you determine exactly what might be causing you to sit at the same weight for four or five days (assuming it's not just your body being bull-headed, which is also a really good possibility), then you can give something up completely or maybe just makes a few small tweaks without giving up something you enjoy.
