Cool Article in 'The Times' and digestion

Hi All,

On the front page of the times today there was an article saying that it was dangerous to have a high protein low carb diet in this heat. Talk about desperate

Apparently digesting protein makes you use more energy (and that's a bad thing because?_) that it seems you should be using to cool down!

OK then. I'll have a large bowl of potatoes, a loaf of bread and several cans of sugary coke- much better than the tuna fish salad in olive oil and bottle of mineral water I've just had!

It really was pathetic- show me the science!

Did anyone else see this?

It's funny the lengths people will go to
