Default Cheesy crackers

I modified a recipe on the back of flax seed and came up with a very low carb cracker. They were yummy.

3/4 cup whey protien powder (unflavored)
1/4 cup Thick n thin not starch.
1 stick butter
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 cup whole flax seeds
1 cup finely shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped pecans

Mix together butter, whey powder and thick n thin until it resembles fine bread crumbs. add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. chill until firm. break off dime size pieces and roll into balls. put on cookie sheet and flatten with your finger. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 6-8 minutes, or until lightly golden around edges. Wait a few minutes to take them off the sheet. note: I used an insulated cookie sheet for these.

when I figure out the carb count, I will post it.

Default carb count

I just figured out the carb count from fitday.

for the total batch:

Total: 2631
Fat: 176 1585 62%
Sat: 36 326 13%
Poly: 62 555 22%
Mono: 70 628 25%
Carbs: 190 85 3%
Fiber: 168 0 0%
Protein: 221 883 35%
Alcohol: 0 0 0%

oops....I left the butter out of the total, but it doesnt change the carb count.
When you subtract the fiber, it is 22 grams for the entire batch. I got about 46 crackers out of it so they are about .48 grams per cracker.

Caution: I ate too many of them in one sitting.
