Default Really overdid it yesterday

Today I am super pooped. I woke up at 5am yesterday and went for a two mile run, came home did 200 crunchies. After I got home from work I was feeling pretty energized and decided to go do the eliptical for 20 minutes and run another mile. I read in my running mag that twice a day workouts were a great metabolism boost if you do them a few times a week. Well needless to say it will be a miracle if I can even get changed into my workout clothes let alone my pj's when I get home. I think I used all my cals and then some. Is this always gonna happen or will my body get used to things?

Sometimes your body just needs to rest. I work out daily for an hour, and take a spinning class on Saturday, walk 3 miles on Sunday, by Monday, my body has had enough! I usually take Mondays off and come home after work and just REST. By Tuesday I'm up and running, feel great and can just continue my workouts.

You are working out a lot, make sure you're getting a little more carbs/calories to compensate, you are doing great!

The body does need to regenerate, and there is no harm in taking one day off.

Right now I am averaging about 1800-1900 cals a day and probably about 25 carbs, maybe I should up the carbs another five.
