Default ReliOn A1c Test Results

I bought the $9.00 Relion test kit from Walmart and sent it in a couple of weeks ago. Today I looked at the results (online, how cool) and it was 5.5, compared to my last A1c of 5.3.

It appears to be a pretty accurate test. I have seen other reports of a .2 difference on the high side compared to the lab results. So, if anyone wants to know what their BG has been doing over the long haul, I can recommend this test.

None of the Walmart stores close to where I live in Houston
have the A1C kit.Maybe I will renew my Sam's Club membership.
Relion doesn't seem to sell from their website anymore.
Oh well,at least the price of gas is dropping for awhile.
Cheers
Eddie

Eddie, I found the test kit closer to the BP monitors. It wasn't in the plastic case with the dial thingy which holds the strips. I had to really search for it.

Thanks Susan I will probably order one after 3 months.
$9 is way lesser than the copay for the doctor.
