Smile Somersizing basics

A friend suggested I might try a different lo carb approach other than the Atkins diet (which isn't going all that great for me) . Is there a website that I can go to to review the plan and the process?

I appreciate it!

Hi! Welcome to the wonderful world of Somersizing! This way of eating (WOE) is so cool!

I recommend you check out the official site: www.suzannesomers.com
Click on Somersizing and at the bottom click Frequently Asked Questions.
Also, there is an MSN group that I'm a member of that has the plan on the home page that tells you exactly what you need to know. The only thing is that you need to know what the carbos and pro/fats and all other foods are categorized as.
Here's the site: http://groups.msn.com/THSSomersizers/_whatsnew.msnw
or go to MSN and search for Somersizing groups.

I recommend buying the book: Fast & Easy. You can get a used one on Amazon.com or EBay and WalMart has it for about 15 bucks.

I hope you give it a try! Good luck in whatever you do!

You can also check the book out at your local library. If you like it you can either make copies of pertinant info or purchase cheaply on the website half.com.

I have been very disappointed with Atkins, too. Not only have I stalled I've gained all but two back in two months (and that was all after the initial eight pound weight loss the first two weeks). I've tried Somersize before and lost initially but think it came back on after the first two weeks, same as Atkins. I've done low-fat for years so perhaps my body is reacting to all the fat, meats and cheeses. I'm trying to find out but good luck to you!
