Default CKD and HST training?

I am really interested in starting an HST routine, Hst stands for Hypertrophy-Specific Training.

more info here , http://www.thinkmuscle.com/articles/haycock/hst-01.htm

anyways the idea is to not over train the muscles, just a major muscle workout, 2 sets, in a pyramiad like setup. 2 weeks of 15 reps, each workout adding 5 pounds till you reach your 15rep max in 2 weeks. THen 10 reps for 2 weeks adding 5-10lbs per workout until you hit your 10 rep max and so on and so on.

I was thinking of doing this, or maybe a modified version....but the workouts are the polar opposite of the CKD style workout. This makes me think that carbing up would just lead to storing fat and reparing muscle instead of superrecomposition....I think...

So does anyone suppose there is a way to mix the 2? Maybe just make fridays workout exhaustive as usual, the people saying its a good workout say that the same results can come from the HST method and the normal routine, and thats the benefits of HST, the workouts. I am gonna play around with it I think. Maybe carbup every 2 weeks? After 2 weeks my muscles HAVE to be depleted....I dunno, any input would be helpful.

So I either have to alter the HSt to have an exhaustive workout, or alter the CKD...poopie

I'm doing TKD on my HST cycle, I just couldn't see how a CKD would work with it, you would need your 3 day/week HST training and then throw in another day for glycogen depletion before your carb up, seemed like alittle to much to me.

Your friday workout can serve as your depletion workout. Just throw in 15-20 min of HIIT and you'll have primed your muscles the carb-up.

I believe there have been a few posts made at google's misc.fitness.weights and on the HSN forums about HST and ketogenic diets as well.
